Ren Calabro
I am a doctoral student in the Computational Cognitive Neuroscience program at the University of Chicago Department of Psychology, mentored by Dr. Yuan Chang Leong. Previously, I received a B.S. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science from the University of Arizona with an emphasis in Philosophy of Mind. Following graduation, I worked as the lab manager of the Motivation and Cognition Neuroscience Lab at the University of Chicago.
I am broadly interested in using computational, psychophysical, and neuroimaging approaches to investigate how people perceive, reason about, and interact with their environments across multiple domains, including how these judgments are affected by external influences such as uncertainty, risk, and reward.
